The Napoleonic Era encompassed the period between November 1799 and the end of 1815. During his rise to power and throughout his reign, Napoleon not only benefitted from circumstance but also cultivated his own image through the use of propaganda.

The Origins of the 'Pharaoh's Curse' Legend

Since the mid-20th century, many authors and documentaries have argued that the curse is 'real' in the sense of being caused by scientifically explicable causes such as bacteria or radiation.
